Subscription platforms are paid access services, not casual feed posts. The safety issue is not just an official download button. It is the broader possibility that a subscriber has both a reason and an opportunity to preserve or share content outside the platform.

If a saved, screen-recorded, or otherwise preserved copy still contains GPS, camera, or timestamp metadata, someone who obtains that file can inspect it outside the platform. GPS and device metadata are invisible in the image itself, but camera and photo apps can store the location where a photo was taken and include that information when the photo is shared.1 EXIF GPS tags include latitude and longitude fields that can turn an ordinary file into a location record.2

Why access permissions differ from public social posts
