Overview

CapyToolkit is a site I build and run independently. Development, hosting, and ongoing tool maintenance are funded in part through affiliate relationships with retailers and service providers. This page explains how those relationships work and when they apply.

How affiliate links work

Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning they carry a tracking identifier tied to CapyToolkit. If you click one of these links and go on to complete a qualifying purchase or sign up for a service, I may earn a small commission from the partner. This does not change the price you pay or add any cost to your purchase.

Amazon Associates Program

CapyToolkit is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Other affiliate partnerships

Amazon Associates is the only affiliate program currently active on CapyToolkit. If I add additional partnerships in the future, they will be covered under this same disclosure without requiring a separate notice. I will update this page to reflect any material change in the partners CapyToolkit works with.

Tracking on partner sites

CapyToolkit's own pages do not embed marketing or tracking scripts, and no third-party iframes are loaded into any tool page. When you click an affiliate link, your browser is redirected to the partner's website. That site may set its own cookie or use another method to record that the visit came from CapyToolkit, so the partner can attribute the referral correctly. That tracking happens entirely on the partner's domain and is governed by the partner's own privacy policy, not this one.

Where this disclosure applies

Affiliate links only appear on specific blog posts and tool pages that carry product recommendations. Those pages display a short disclosure note near the affiliate content itself, and that note links back to this page. Pages without an inline disclosure note do not contain affiliate links.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as CapyToolkit's affiliate relationships change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
